In October 2020 we brought together a panel of experts from around Australia to discuss how Geographers, who habitually research and teach about climate change, social and environmental justice, would or should best declare a ‘Climate Emergency’.
The online symposium was hosted by the Australian Centre for Culture, Environment, Society and Space (University of Wollongong) and funded by the Geographical Society of NSW. The symposium was recorded live and released as a special episode of 'There's no place like...' - a podcast produced by the Australian Centre for Culture, Environment, Society and Space.
